We were privileged to work in the Historic space that is St Lukes Church in Liverpool and had the honour of being one of the few Theatre Companies invited to perform. and have toured along the Lancashire coast bringing theatre to young people whom in the past have had no true access to the wonders of live theatre. Over the past four years the Company have moved into site specific Theatre as well, and have had many successes in adapting the wonderful work of Roald Dahl to outdoor spaces. The company have created an interesting and diverse back catalogue that features the work of John godber, Marina Carr (for the Liverpool Irish Festival) Mike Leigh, Eve Ensler, Jacques Brel, Dennis Potter & Stephen King - to name but a few. Over the past year Gambolling Arena have received 5* awards from both the Brighton Festival and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival for their first piece of new writing 'I wish you Love' - A conversation between Edith Piaf and Marlene Dietrich.
